If you knew...

"If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." John 4:10

If only you knew.... just who you are dealing with...

So often our prayers and desires and hopes just don't measure up to the size of who Jesus is.

We come to Jesus                      
                              hesitantly                  

hoping to get enough
                            forgiveness
                                         security
                                                      love


                                                                     to survive.


But all the while he gives us:

riches this world cannot measure
beauty the world cannot bear to look at, let alone recognise
the fullness of God
                    the wisdom of God
                                         the love of God
                                                          the death-swallowing, resurrection-achieving power of God.

*new eyes*
              *new life*
                 
                          and best of all, a *new heart*.
